TMI Tuesday: Super Bowl Edition

Even if their team is not going to the Super Bowl, millions of people love an excuse to party. So party we will. Tell us what your ideal Super Bowl Celebration (or any sports party) looks like by answering:

1. What’s your favorite _____ that you’ll serve at the party (name one item for each):
a. choice of beer
- Not having beer at the Super Bowl party this year since it will be held in the church basement, but I'm a fan of Heineken.

b. choice of wine - No wine either

c. choice of distilled spirit - I'm noticing a pattern here.

d. choice of mixed drink - Tropical Punch Kool-Aid and ginger ale. Mix and freeze

e. choice of chip Cool Ranch Doritos

f. choice of dip - My wifes homemade Spinach dip

g. choice of take-out food (pizza, burgers, Chinese food, wings, etc) - Honey Mustard Wings from Atomic Wings in New York City.

h. choice of homemade food - probably my homemade chili.

i. choice of salty food - salt and vinegar potato chips

j. choice of sweet food - brownies

2. What will you wear at the party?

Either my new Giants jersey (payday is Friday) or some combination of Red, White and Blue

3. If you will be having your very own half time show at the football party. What is that half-time show? Briefly describe.

Haven't decided yet, but anything would be better than Madonna.

4. What team do you wish was playing in the Super Bowl?

Jets v/s Giants

5. The NY Giants and New England Patriots are in Super Bowl 2012, who do you want to win?

The Giants

Bonus: Have you ever made a football (or Super Bowl) bet that involved sex? Tell us about your own Super Bowl of Sex.

I have made sex (or sexual activity) related bets in the past, but never on the Super Bowl. Maybe one of these years.

Bonus Bonus: Will you watch the Super Bowl? Do you even care about the Super Bowl? American football at all? What’s your can’t live without sport?

Watching the NFL Pro Bowl is usually something you do just to pass the time because you are just conditioned to watch football on Sundays. Watching the best players not playing in the Super Bowl play a meaningless game at the end of the season in Hawaii in the middle of winter is damn nea half speed, don't play the whole game and all they want is to avoid injury and not get hurt. . . . And they get $25,000 for losing. Despite all of that, I was glued to every single play. Why? Because my wife has finally decided to learn about football. I think women who are knowledge are sexy. It is such a turn on for me. Now that my wife understands football, I am looking forward to the Super Bowl even more right now.

TMI Tuesday: Would You Rather . . .

1. Would you rather wear the same pair of unwashed socks for 2 years or wear the same pair of unwashed underwear for 1 year? Explain.

Between the two, give me the socks. It can't be that bad if I have to wear them for 2 years to equal the nastiness that comes with one year of unwashed underwear.

2. Would you rather eat a baby or be eaten by a giant baby? Explain.

As long as we are talking about a baby lamb, I'll eat the baby.

3. Would you rather steal money from your Grandfather in the past or steal money from a Grandchild in the future? Why?

Logically speaking, I would say the grandchild. Isn't that what we are doing with social security anyway. We are paying it so others can spend it with no guarantee that it will be there for us in the future.

4. Would you rather be trapped in a cave full of vampire bats or put a large jar full of bees (opened) in your pants?

Give me the cave. Those blind bats have to find me first. I have a slim chance of getting out unbitten

5. Would you rather be a person with a head that is noticeably big for your body or have a head that is disproportionately small compared to the rest of your body?

There was a guy in my high school that had a disproportionately small head. I think I could have handled that easier than the head being too big.

Bonus: Would you rather have sex, with your significant other, in a sex club with all eyes and a spotlight on you OR would you rather get gang-banged & groped in darkness by a bunch of strangers.

Show the world what I do to my wife or have a bunch of strange women have their way with me. The introvert in my says go with the strangers. The extrovert says go with the wife. I guess, if she was down, we'd put on one hell of a show.

TMI Tuesday - Snowed In Edition

It's Tuesday and I'm snowed in, so don't judge me because I'm doing this a few days late. I've got a lot of catching up to do in the blogosphere.

Happy TMI Tuesday. Let’s play Hoo Doo (Who Do?). Answer the following questions and elaborate as you wish. Your answers can be real and truthful, fun and flirty, or crazy and whacky.

Who or Who(m) do you want to:

1. Play naked twister with?

Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, Egypt, and on a more personal level, one person who might eventually come across this post.

2. Love?
I have love for anyone I consider a friend, but there's only 1 person I'm IN LOVE with right now.

3. Excites you beyond belief?
There is one person who can get me excited just by the sight of her name in my inbox or phone, but again, she might come across this so I'm not say.

4. Enjoy ass play with?
If its me getting in theirs, that list is down to 2 people, and since I'm married to one of them, I will probably miss out on the other. . . sigh

5. Shower with?
Believe it or not, nobody. I think that is a very overrated experience . . . unless of course it comes in the middle of an "all around the house" session. . . which I haven't had in a few weeks.

6. Undress?
That doesn't do it for me. I'd rather watch her strip than take her clothes off, except for this one fantasy I have where the woman is wearing one of my dress shirts, a bra and panties and I just come in and pin her against the wall and rip the shirt off.

7. Rim?
Why stop there? If I even go back there, I'd rim, toss salad and go in, but that will take us back to question 3 and 4.

8. Elope with?
If something ever happened where I would have the opportunity to get married again, right now I would have to say it would be the person I would have persued had I not persued my wife.

Bonus: Who do you want to wake up in the arms of? Why?
I'd rather do the holding versus being held. Personal preference.

Of course, this was all in good fun, but if you are courious about the real answers to any of these questions and you know me off line, just ask.

Melodies From Heaven: Originality

For the most part, we were all born by ourselves. Unless you are a twin, there's nobody out there who looks like you, acts like you, walks like you or talks like you. We are never any more original than we are on the day we are born. Unfortunately, as time goes on, there are a lot of people out there who don't appreciate their originality. Next time you walk down a major street in your town just look around. Young girls are trying so hard to look like Nikki Manaj or one of the Khardashians. Young guys are trying so hard to look like Drake, or any other so-called rapper out there today. It's getting so bad you almost can't tell anyone apart anymore.

While everyone is trying to "keep up" with the latest trends out there, it takes a special person to stay true to themselves and be original. There used to be a saying a while back that "clothes make the man". The older I get, the more I realize how backwards that is. Clothes don't make the man, the MAN makes the clothes. You are who you are, not because of what you are wearing, but because of everything else. Mind you, had the apple not been eaten in the Garden of Eden, we'd all be naked right now. How would you set yourself apart from the next person if that was the case?

You'll come to find out that you'll set yourself apart, simply by being yourself. It's the best thing you could do with the life you're given. I can't speak for the rest of you, but I know who made me, and last time I checked, HE doesn't make mistakes. We, more often than not, mess up the masterpiece that is us.

Another Guilty Pleasure

My guilty pleasures have been well documented over the years, with chocolate and peanut butter being the ones that most people know about. Lately, I have come to the point where I have to add another one to the list. Ever since I gave my wife her Nook Tablet for Christmas I think I have spent more time on it than her (my staycation has more to do with it than anything else). Only thing is, I'm not reading any books. I'm on it playing Words With Friends. I know, its sad, but that game is addictive and the fact that you can play up to 21 games at a time makes you feen. I find myself checking every few minutes to see if someone else has played. I am trying to detox myself from it slowly but surely to make things easier when I go back to work next week, but I haven't been caught up in a game this much since Mafia Wars first came out on MySpace. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who is addicted, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.

Weekend Recap: 2012 Is Still Alright With Me

So the first full weekend of 2012 has come and gone and I can still say that this is going to be a good year. Last weekend was great and this weekend wasn't too bad either. Friday was lazy. The Mrs. and I went to visit her mom, grabbed something to eat and watched the Cotton Bowl (my mother in law is a sports fan). Saturday, I went to a leadership meeting at my church. Afterwards, I met our photographer to pick up our thank you cards then hit the supermarket for some playoff watching essentials. Between games on Saturday, I tried a new recipe that I was put on to and catered to one of my guilty pleasures. Sunday, it was church and more football. The Giants are still alive so all is right with the world. Heard a good word at church that I'll post about as soon as it finishes marinating in my head. Probably Wednesday. How was your weekend

Weekend Recap: Hello 2012

Happy New Year everyone. By now, everyone should be back into their regular routines after the New Year's weekend. I'm just returning from a meeting with the HR department of my new job and beginning my 2 weeks of relaxation and preparation. Nothing but reading (the bible, which is one of my goals for this year), writing (mostly blogs, but if something or someone inspires me to write something else then so be it) and playing with my new toy (PS3).

I've brought in the new year in many different ways over the years. I've done Times Square seven times (If you're under 30, this should be on your bucket list). I've been to parties, I've taken road trips, I've done church and since Mrs. Organized Noise has been in my life, we have had our own New Year's traditions *insert devilish wink*. This year, I did something that I hadn't done before, and I think I like it.

It started as a rather casual conversation Thursday after a funeral. I was in a conversation with some friends and we were all discussing how we didn't have any plans for New Year's besides going to church. I threw out the suggestion that someone have a game night and even offered to provide pizza. Next thing you know, a new tradition was born. It turned out to be a rather small gathering, but not bad for one that was created less than 48 hours before it happened. A few friends (10-15), a lot of pizza, various "beverages", and spades all night long. From 6pm - 4am. Those of us who wanted to go to church went and came back to the festivities afterwards. A good time and certainly something I wouldn't mind doing again.

The partying continued on Sunday with a trip out to Staten Island for another annual event, the New Year's Day pot luck. Another good time with good people, great food, various beverages, good games (if you haven't played "A Game of Things" find it, buy it and play it at your next adult game night)

Hopefully you all brought in the New Year on a good note as well. I hope 2012 is the year you want it to be.

TMI Tuesday: First of 2012

1. Finish this sentence: In the New Year I am going to be better than I was last year.

2. Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? If yes, what are they for 2012?
Resolutions . . . goals . . . call them what you want. I made a few. Most of them were listed in my previous post so I won't repeat them here. The biggest one on the list was already taken care of so my year is already off to a good start.

3. What New Year’s resolutions did you make last year?
I make the same resolution every year; be better at the end of the year than I was at the beginning of the year. I think I did that in 2011.

4. Think of three of those resolutions, from last year. How did you do in keeping them? Let me think. I am healthier than I was. I got married. I didn't reach the financial goals I set for myself so I have to do better this year.

5. What was your most memorable sexual happening/experience in 2011?

Talk about a drastic topic change. You'd think that having gotten married last year my most memorable sexual happening/experience would have been on my wedding night, but it wasn't. The most memorable sexual happening/experience happened on New Year's Day last year (well, technically, since it was after midnight). Keeping with tradition, the Mrs. and I pulled out all of the stops. We definitely need more nights like that one.

Bonus: What was your most memorable experience (activity, event, etc.) in 2011?

Easily my wedding and all of the events leading up to it. The day went by fast, but the moments will last a lifetime.

Operation 2012

If you're reading this congratulations and Happy New Year!!!!! Hope you brought in the New Year with friends, family, loved ones or a combination of the three. If all went well, I brought the year in at church with my wife and son. I've done the New Year's Eve parties, Times Square and even a New Year's weekend getaway to Philadelphia for the fireworks and Mummer's Day parade, but as I get older, church is one of the best places to start the year and as long as I am able to (barring a hell of an opportunity) I hope to be in church to start every year.

Like most people, I see New Year's as an opportunity to start over, make changes and begin to improve my life. I don't go as far as using the "R" word, but I definitely have plans for 2012. Since "finding people to hold me accountable" is one of my plans, I figured I would share the rest of my goals for this year with you (In Alphabetical Order):

Be a Better Man, Husband and Father Last year, I became a husband and a father for the first time. Neither of those jobs came with instruction manuals. I want to get better at each one day at a time.

Get And Use A Passport The last time I left the country was when I went to Cancun with "Aye Papi" and back then I just needed a birth certificate to leave and re-enter the country. A lot has changed since then, and since I've been invited to a destination wedding within the next few months, I think it's time.

Get A New Job The last three years have been rough for me professionally. It's time for me to stop having jobs and get back on the career train. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED ON DECEMBER 22ND. I START MY NEW JOB ON JANUARY 17TH.

Get Certified In Something (Else): Last year, one of my jobs made me become a Notary Public. I had no idea how much money was in notorizing stuff. Those $2 stamps add up quick. Now I'm thinking that getting certified in something else will 1) make me more attractive professionally 2) lead to possibly going back to school and 3) make me money.

Get In Shape: Eat better, be active, exercise more. Whatever it takes.

Less Facebook/More Life: Facebook is a gift and a curse. It's nice to keep in touch with the people in your life, but it gets bad when people start oversharing and airing out their dirty laundry. Plus it's time consuming. There's so much out there to do and I want to enjoy it.

Read The Bible In Its Entirety This has been a goal of mine for years. I have always started, but never finished. I'm not making any excuses this year. Genesis to Revelationsh starts today.

Re-establish a nest egg The last three years have been rough on me mentally, emotionally and financially. Now I think I'm in a position that I can start to recover and that's the plan for this year.

Re-evaluate My Friendships As I evolve, the people around me will evolve. Some people will step up, some will fall back. Either way, the role they choose to play in my life will change as I do. I will constantly try to only surround myself with positive people who encourage and motivate me.

Take Care of Those Who Take Care of Me I want to stop waiting til birthday's and Christmas to look out for the people in my life. When people do good things for me, I'll return the favor. Life is short and tomorrow is not promised, so like my old pastor used to say, I'm going to "give them their flowers while they can still smell them".

Write More When I last had a pen pal, I would average writing 2 letters a month. I miss that. As soon as I can find one, I'm going to get back into the habit of writing letters. I'll even settle for an e-mail buddy if it's consistent. I also want to blog more and revisit writing a book and working on my business plan.
